Interesting. I'm not entirely surprised that Paramount is releasing this one separately (especially since I feel like this is the one people would want the most out of that set). I guess we'll see if they feel the need to do individual releases for the other two.

Wonder if it'll have any of Shout's bonus features, or any of the stuff that was missing from Shout's as well.
I'm very confident that we won't see Shout's extras on this one. Those extras would now be the only things enticing someone whom isn't necessarily wanting the other two films to buy the box set.

MAYBE the Unmasking The Horror EPK featurette could make an appearance, but I wouldn't count on the Creed music video coming back, either. If I had to guess, I'll assume that this will be a barebones UHD disc only, maybe a digital copy thrown in there, too, with the steelbook and the film being available on its own being the selling points.

Honestly, I'm thinking the same thing. I've already got the SF set; logically, there's no reason for me to consider buying this, especially if my predictions concerning the extras are correct. But steelbook does sound appealing...

As far as a version of the movie with Ottman's score goes, I don't see it happening. If it were in the cards, it would've likely been on one of SF's releases by now. It's not a bad score, although I don't think it really fits the tone of the film (outside of the new orchestration of the original score, which is one of Ottman's skills). I do think that just placing the Scream score in there was also a mistake, though, so it's not really a great situation all around.

Ottman's score is available on disc, though, for anyone that wants to hear it (under the name "Portraits of Terror").
