Greece 4K player overheat?

Ok back again with a similar problem.

The first one i described I think was the remote control. I used an older remote from an older LG bluray player that i liked better. I changed back to the original remote from the 4K and since then everything's ok.

But now i have a new one.

I found out that in some movies the player seems to have a problem with the playback after a while. The movies that seem to have the problem are over 3 hours (Gladiator-extended-Avatar the Way of Water, Godfather 2). IN every movie just after the 2 hour mark, the player starts to struggle, not so much freezing, it's more like small skips, plays a little slow (like slo motion) and some pixelation. Every time the temparture was high. Also every time after 5-10 minutes break when I start the movie again from the same spot everything is just fine and the movie plays until the end with no more issues. Only happens in 4K movies and (so far at least) big movies.

So i'm thinking overheat maybe? I had a similar problem with my older LG bluray player. In this case the player could not play more than 4 hours straight. That wasn't such a big issue since I only have one 4 hours movie and thats in two seperate discs, so a small break in between was all i needed in that case.

How can i cool it? The player has a lot of space from every side, up and down. So its gets a lot of air. The room though is a little stuffy i admit. Can a cooler base similar to those for laptops can help? I never used one myself before.

Any ideas?
