In comparing price to features there appears to be a lot of good options. Canon, Sony, Fuji, Kodak, Panasonic, Olympus, Pentax, etc. However, when playing around with them at Best Buy the Canon seemed to be the most user-friendly, intuitively-designed among them.
I was serious about the Canon SD1200, but CNET seems to like the Sony DSC-W290. It has 5x optical zoom (vs. 3x) and ranges from 28-140mm (vs. 35-105mm), so I'm leaning in that direction now. On Bing.com it's just under $200 after 3% cash back. I found the Canon on Dell.com for $170.
What are some good sites on which to do some price comparisons? Who's cheap and reliable?
