I think there’s likely a good third movie in there if they decided to go back-to-basics, left behind the convoluted and contrived world building of the second film. I mean if I remember the second film correctly, they pretty much killed off all the Kingsmen off in the first 15 minutes. So the logical step would be to have Taron Egerton’s character attempt to rebuild the Kingsmen and I suppose have it be Colin Firth’s last hurrah.

It's likely not high up on a priority list for the studio.
And I think Vaughn is busy with work on
Argylle which releases early next year. He wants to make that a trilogy so maybe he's distracted by that.
He also said he wants to remake
Kick-Ass. Apparently the rights revert back to him in December.
