Hey Guys.

So I just bought myself a new samsung Blue-ray BD-P1580 today. But of course it just wont work...

I read the manual and it says, that the first you plug in your player, a menu with language selection should pop up on your tv and nothing of that happens. Actually all I can do, is to open the disc, click on the buttons with no reactions, insert a disc, without anything happening.

There is a picture. Some kind of background that every player has, however no Samsung text or anything, just a background with some unclear bubbles and such. Low picture quality. Also only showing 720x360 or something.

My tv is a samsung LE40B535, 1080p.

The question is, am I doing something wrong or should I just go back and complain ?
