20th Century Fox

Just came back from the 6pm EST showing. Quick reaction: Holy cow you guys are going to go to town on this one if the theatrical experience replicates what we're going to get with the home release. I'm not someone who's all that sensitive to artifacting (i.e. I'm not a pixel peeper), and even I noticed the plainly obviously (compression?) artifacts at the top of the frame of the tidal wave sequence. I'm sure everybody in the audience noticed it. There also seemed to be frozen artifacts within the lettering of the main end credits sequence. Some of Mary Elizabeth's close-ups looked pretty smooth to me, but I'd have to go back to my DVD copy and compare. I'm positive this has had the usual Cameron processing applied to it. It's been about eight years since I last watched the film on DVD, so hard for me to compare the color timings. I will be verrry curious to read you guys' reaction to this. BTW, "20th Century Fox" logo at the head of the film.
