Hi, I'm a bit new to Blu Ray players, but recently my oldest son bought me and my wife a Blu Ray player(the one I posted as the title of this topic), he set it up under our current home theater system(surround sound system). But, lately, it has been skipping with many discs we play in it, is this more likely due to the heat that is being trapped inside due to another device on top where it would ventilate at or is it a problem with the laser?

Like I said, I'm fairly new to Blu-Ray so I sought out some help here, thanks.
