I think we should add The Boy and the Heron (aka. How Do You Live?) here (albeit with an asterisk).
The film was animated digitally, and Studio Ghibli did make 35mm filmouts, but the disc and digital releases (as well as the digital prints) have an artificial film filter to make the films look like 35mm film.
Strangely, they didn't scan the film to 35mm, but that's probably so they can have fuller control over the colours and luminance in a digital realm.
I get where Studio Ghibli is coming from, especially as they really wanted to take advantage of HDR with Kimitachi and Earwig, but making filmouts and manipulating THOSE for HDR and the intended colours would have been much better IMO.
I would also add the following here:
- Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
- The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (the earlier Blu-ray releases, including the one packaged with the 4K UHD, is a pure digital source albeit with messed-up colours)
- South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut
