You got the Glossy version? Most early reviews implied that the glossy version was not suitable for print work but ok for casual video work as colour accuracy was not as critical for video work given the multiple possible colour profiles and temperatures possible with end user screens.
I believe most reviewers noticed less colour accuracy with the glossy displays.
How long ago did you buy it? See if you can do an exchange for a matte display MBP.

There is a lot of back and forth on the display. The "genius" at the Apple store reinforced that the glossy was the one to get for any graphics. The glossy is supposed to have more vibrant colors. It's main flaw I read of before my purchase was the reflection. Matte's originally had the tinging issue but now it has switched over to the glossy screens. Samsung seems to be the culprit. (I look at my 56" HDTV and shake my head.)
I am going to see if I can get a matte. If they ship a glossy back out to me with the issue I will keep sending it back until its fixed or they tire of me. I want it to work so I can. They want to minimize cost and know this one has a problem. They must deal with the same issue all day long.
