They sent out two techs one of which the descibed as a master tech, after 4 hours and 3 different boxes the issue still persisted, there final answer was and i quote "cablevision boxes are not compatible with hdmi cables" they hooked up the compenent cables and left. needless to say I am now a happy customer of FIOS

ha.. excellent!! I'm now a Directv customer!! They told my cousin that same thing that their boxes weren't compatible with HDMI. THEN WHAT'S THE POINT OF HAVING THAT CONNECTION? lol.. I went over and fixed it for him.
