I have to admit I am a bit annoyed that so many Americans ordered through DiabolikDVD and Orbit, as those were Synapse's options to help out any interested overseas buyers.
Now I had to use a re-shipper, which will easily double the price for me.
I realize a big part of this is of course due to the complete breakdown of Synapse's website pushing people to order elsewhere, and Synapse totally underestimating the title's popularity certainly also plays a role in the frenzy. It it what it is. I am still a bit miffed though, especially when I read about people here buying multiple copies of the same cover version from both Synapse and one of the indie shops.

I understand where you're coming from. Having said that, I did buy my copy from Orbit.
I was in the middle of an all-day drive when it when on sale, coming in and out of cell service. My preference would have been to buy directly from Synapse, but with their website down for an extended period of time I ended up having to get it from Orbit as I wouldn't have been able to try again for 3+ hours.
TBH, it never occurred to me that the copies available on Orbit and Diabolik were earmarked for international customers.
