Sounds like I'm in the same boat as most of you, loving the miniseries as I grew up, but I could never get into the television series. I tried again a few years ago when I was working from home, but I couldn't make it past the first handful of episodes. Similarly to "Battlestar Galactica 1980" - Loved the OG, but the sequel series I couldn't make it through the first three episodes.
