Is there ANY news on potential new Blu-ray players (preferably 4K UHD)? Last year there was some discussion about this and it even looked like there was talks behind the screens for new players, but it eventually disappeared into the night with no follow-up. It’s been 5-6 years now with no updates, making it nearly impossible to make a decision since you either buy a device that’s outdated and already 6 years in storage (and some have playback issues), risking the chance that eventually a new player does get released, or wait forever with no insight for updated devices. Any information would be appreciated.
