Dementia 3D aka Daughter of Horror (1955) [Region Free] [BD-R]
Another glowing review for Dementia 3D.
"Okay, enough with the history lesson. Let’s get to the EyePop disc.
LSS, it’s a honey!
In fact, it’s one of their best to date. The claustrophobic environs, the jagged nighttime angular terrors, the in-your-face creeps being actually in-your-face adds to this classic. It shows that creative 3D can definitely become part of the structure, and transcend being mere gimmick. If the process had been an option in 1951, I have no doubt that Parker (and, okay, DeSota) would have taken advantage of it. Yep, it’s that good. In fact, it turns the hellish episode from being an oft unpleasant experience to becoming a stunning and terrifying excursion into…well, dementia. And all utilizing near-pristine 35MM materials."
