Interestingly from Sony's Vegas manual...
That aside if one were to be pedantic perhaps a "3D Blu-ray" doesn't need to meet the "Blu-ray 3D" standard.
However I think if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck then to me it's pretty much a duck.
