This makes sense, they probably want to make sure the sales window is as large as possible and having stuff stuck in restoration phase doesn't help. In the end I guess what I'm trying to say is that budgets mean more to the end product than who's doing the restore. With a title like this that's already sold close to 30k via the box set and now as a stand alone release in Germany, it's hard for me personally to imagine anyone wanting to dump enough money into a third release to justify a ground up restore.
