Default My 2.1 apartment setup with Genelec speakers

I live in an apartment, so I’m somewhat limited in building a full home theater, but I’m really happy with what I’ve put together at a 9-foot viewing distance. My current setup includes:

• TV: 65-inch LG CX (OLED, still looks amazing after 5 years)

• Speakers/Subwoofer: Genelec 8331A (pair) and 7350A subwoofer (behind the tv) – incredible clarity and bass for a 2.1 system

• DAC: Benchmark DAC3 L – handles digital-to-analog conversion for all my sources

• Blu-ray Player: Panasonic DP-UB9000P1K – love the build quality of this

• Other Sources: Apple TV 4K (3rd Gen) and a gaming PC (NVIDIA RTX 4090 for 4K gaming)

I’m planning to upgrade my TV to a 77-inch LG G5 for its larger size and improved brightness, but I’m waiting for Black Friday sales in November 2025 to score a better deal. The larger screen should make my 9-foot viewing distance even more immersive.

I also wanted to highlight Genelec’s GLM software. It calibrates the 8331A speakers and 7350A subwoofer to help correct for my asymmetrical, untreated room (lots of windows and no acoustic treatment). The process was user-friendly, and the results, while not perfect, are impressive – the subwoofer’s frequency response is nearly flat despite being in a corner behind the TV, and the speakers sound great despite the room’s challenges. I noticed a significant improvement in audio clarity and bass integration after running GLM.

I’ve attached a few pics of my setup. I’d love to hear your thoughts! Any tips for the LG G5 upgrade?
