I should replay Mafia 3 again as it's been a couple years. Long loading screen at first. That game I have on disc but decided to update it before completing that game on PS4 as the civilians clothes were glitching badly, flickering to the point the immersion in the game was broken. That was the only issue I had other than the pixelated muddy reflections in the water.
How would you rank the Mafia games?
Mafia 2 remaster (PS4) much better than the PS3 version IMO.
Mafia remake (PS4) Very nice.
Mafia 3. A fun game and closest thing to a modern Driver 1.
Mafia 4 Old Country, TBD. To be determined soon. August 8th, that is nice and not August 31st, as most games tend to release at the end of a month.
I wonder if that $80 price point will stick for the long term or just in place for the time being? Nintendo are showing how greedy they really can be. That is a ridiculous price and they're trying to set an example for other big studios to greedily follow.
But maybe the big AAA developers need all that money to stay in business for some of them struggling to break even despite all of the revenue.
Then Hangar 13 walks in and offers their brand new Mafia game for 49.99.
I didn't see any city with cars yet, so maybe that's part of the bargain price that would be expected for a new PS3 game in 2006. It's a great price for a new medium studio game. Or is Hanger 13 a large studio?

I guess they're large as they had an unannounced game called
[Show spoiler]Volt in 2021 that was canceled after $53 million dollars was spent on the budget and the game wasn't finished.
Plus they had layoffs in 2022 to slim down the team. 2022 when they started work on Mafia Old Country.
Mafia 4 technically.
