I honestly wouldn't mind if Pixar broke off from Disney, and became way less family friendly with their animated films. Animated films used to be a lot darker more violent, more adult, and even really bloody at times. I feel Pixar is limiting themselves by staying family friendly, and not getting more dark, and much more adult.
I honestly wouldn't mind if Pixar hired Martin Scorcese to direct an animated cat Gangster movie. It would make a lot of sense he's made a number of great Gangster movies. He fits better than picking people that don't know much about gangsters at all. He might make it more violent, and bloody sure, but he would fit so well.
Pixar hire Martin Scorcese to direct an animated cat Gangster movie you really should.
An animated cat Gangster film in the vein of Mean Streets, and Goodfellas directed by Martin Scorcese sounds amazing.
