I caught "Splinter", which I enjoyed. It was well done and unique. Most of the other movies they have shown seem to be more or less "indie" types that didn't hold any interest for me.
My guess is they're previewing movies that they don't expect to do substantial business at the box office, in the hopes that those who see them for free on TV will serve as word-of-mouth advertising to those who don't have HDNet. I'm sure they're fine films. But like I said, they just didn't seem interesting to me personally.
