On my old Pioneer DVD player(entertainment unit not computer drive) if I did not complete the movie I could save where I got to. That means if I removed the disk from the unit and at a later time I could resume at the same location. I believe this was a common feature amongst DVD players.
It appears this feature is missing from Blu-ray players.
With all their wiz-bang features this is the option that is sorely missed in my view.
For the techos out there is it possible to intoduce this feature in a firmware upgrade.
Or is there a good reason why this feature was left out or cannot be introduced.
