I think the new car show that I described above is the one that started today (found out on Rewind's Facebook page earlier). It's called
We Had One of Those. Aired earlier at 6 pm and the same time tomorrow (looks like each Saturday and Sunday (the Sunday airing might be a repeat). However, sadly each edition is only on for ten minutes.

Rewind posted a day or two ago on their Facebook page about some programmes coming soon to the channel (there is a link in the post to a website called Cordbusters). From what I can remember, two of them are a Doctor Who documentary called
The Doctors: 30 Years of Time Travel and Beyond and an unofficial
Doctor Who spin-off called
Cyberon.
