- the 15th September, 1988 edition (presented by Simon Mayo & Peter Powell), airing at 9.50 pm - 10.20 pm.

Comment: I think this may have been the last edition of TOTP that Peter Powell presented before he left the BBC (I've only seen this edition once before and that was a few years ago when BBC Four first repeated it).
Also, this should be the last week affected by this year's Proms season as the Last Night of the Proms is the following day (Saturday 13th September).
