Ive been thinking about this for a while and I have decided to avoid media on games I am super interested in. I feel that if I watch all the trailers for a game and read all the reviews I miss out on a lot of the excitement and surprise that games can bring. The first game I tested this on was Batman: Arkham Asylum and I absolutely loved it.

I had no idea what villains were in it other than the Joker and it was so refreshing not knowing anything about the story or big set piece moments.

Now I am avoiding the Uncharted thread for the life of me.

Anyone else feel the same as I do and try to avoid media on games you know you would enjoy?
