DELL was out-of-stock on Sept. 22, but they were still taking orders; the next day, they removed the link from their website (and is still unavailable, as of today). With regards to the original deal: originally, the Elite console was discounted by $30, a 15% coupon code could be applied separately and shoppers placing their orders through DELL (via Bing.com) received a cashback offer. After the $50 rebate was included in the equation, the final price (after taxes) would have been ~$200 (give or take a few dollars).
I was unable to place my order through DELL, due largely to procrastination, so I did the next best thing. Someone at CAG brought it to my attention: Best Buy will match competitors' ads with gift card offers (details are posted on their website). Micro Center is selling the Elite unit this month for $299 with a $50 store gift card included (unfortunately, the location near me had pre-Jasper units only). I took their flyer, along with a printout of Best Buy's return policy to a B&M Best Buy. The CSR was unfamiliar with this price match policy, so a floor manager was brought into the discussion; after reviewing the printout, he offered a $50 discount on the console, but tacked on a $50 store gift card to the overall price. In short, the price paid for the console was $249.99 + state tax + $50 gift card.
Keep in mind that this is a YMMV scenario. Some shoppers received a $50 discount without having to pay additionally for a gift card, while others were refused the price match outright. Good luck, shoppers.
