I spent over an hour on the phone with Sony to be told "they would have to research the problem" ... everything seemed right to them.

Samsung BD-P1500 connected to Sony STR-DH800 via HDMI and set to Bitstream...Sony STR-DH800 speaker setup at 3/4.1 and AFD Auto is selected.

Tried several 7.1 DVDs but never get more than 3/2.1 out of the system???

Any help appreciated.....

Follow-Up Note: This problem seems to have been resolved by a recent update to the Samsung firmware.
