I'm wondering what peoples opinions are on if my sound should see a nice enhancement with my klipsch RB-51 and RC-62. I am running a yamaha v663.

Certain sounds seem to clip at higher volumns and especially when there is a helicopter type noice, the speakers don't do well. I originally made the move because I know there is more sound to be had from the speakers but my receiver can't pump out what I'm looking for. It's more than I wanted to spend so I'm hoping this isn't a typical chain reaction where now I need to upgrade speakers cuz the amp is too powerful. lol. The specs say peak 300w on the speakers where the xpa-3 is 200w per channel.

Did I make the right move?? In case you didn't notice, I'm more of a react now, deal with it later type of person
Peak power is different than continuous power. What are the continuous power rating abilities of your Klipsch speakers?

There is no question the XPA-3 will offer you a cleaner sound, and it was a good choice! Congrats!
