You know what after my last post with this guy, I regret what I wrote in reply. NYG if you could please remove it, fankly getting worked up by HD fanboys AVS style the is not really worth it and I should think be for I type.

hmurchison I would take your own advise about throwing rocks in a glass house. Most these people are happy with their BD players and you are on a BD site talking down BD. BD does support those codecs plus, just need to have a firmware update if they chose to use it. They also have a 7.1 analog player.
Both sides have their advatages one more than the other but that is niether here nor there. As popularity grows on either side the prices will drop. PS2 was what $349 when it can out and now it is $150. DVD was $800 now you can pick one up for $35. Price really isn't a factor in the big scheme of things. People had the same arguments about Beta vs. VHS, DVIK vs. DVD and now HD vs. BD. Support, room to improve, use out side of movies, storage space and the porno industry are always the key factor.


Viki they answer lies with in the episode of last weeks south park. The one about the Hardy boys, dukie in the urinal and the 911 consperacy.
