user manual, on the last page it talks about how each room can listen to a different source. "The RCA inputs on the AB-301 will override the main input

So basically you could connect a cd player, tv, stereo etc into each room and listen discretely through the in wall speakers.
But, if your question is how do you connect multiple components to the original room (living room perhaps)...you could use 2
female-male rca y splitter? or for more devices, use an
rca switcher.
