Here in northern Minnesota, we have no earthquakes, no hurricanes, no poisonous snake (and few benign ones), no bad spiders, no cockroaches, many mosquitoes, very rare tornadoes and only occasional thunderstorms. We do have cold winters, blizzards and suicidal terrorist whitetail deer.
Everything else is as above. I've lived in Michigan, Idaho, North Dakota, Missouri, Alabama, Texas and Minnesota. All of them have great things and bad things about them. The only of them I would never want to go back to is Houston, Texas. Other parts of Texas may be okay, though.
