Default Done!

I went to Brandsmart today and asked the sales guy about the G15 50 inch (as I said before, they don't carry the G10 line). Within 20 minutes, I was a proud owner.

Turns out they had none in stock though. Not a big deal, as I don't need it right away anyway. He said they got in a shipment of 30 or so a few weeks ago, 8 of which were sold before they got there, and the rest gone over the last few weeks. However, getting a new shipment of 88 in this week to "prepare for the season and sales," which is what his manager told us. Based on that info, he suggested I check back on Black Friday to see if I can get a price match. He said he honestly didn't know if it would be lower than what I got it for, but he said based on the inventory they're getting it may be a doorbuster deal.

Anyway, here's what I got it for (try not to be jealous):

$998 + $60 Tax. 30 Day Return from day its delivered.
$69 for 2 Year Warranty (if it breaks, they try to repair or replace with new TV). I can cancel in 30 days if I decide I don't want/need it.
Free Premium Install Shipping (don't need the install, but this was the only way I could get free delivery). Though, this way, the set is delivered by two if their install guys in a van, and NOT in a big box truck with 'hired help'.
$50 Coupon for Comcast (use for getting the extra HD Box, or put it towards bill).

So, out the door, I got the set for less than $1100 bucks (sticker on it was $1200, would have paid $1300 on Amazon). I just couldn't pass up the deal, considering for the 54 inch G10 it would have cost an extra $400 from Amazon. Plus the hassle of returning if its defective. To me, $400 is not worth the 4 inches.

Thanks for all the help...so far. I'm sure I'll be back to ask about break-in, cleaning, care, etc.
