Hey guys i did a search and didnt find what i was looking for so here it goes. I was playing transformers 2 and it only plays in dts hd and my receiver is a rather old one that only plays in DD 5.1 via optical and no dts. I notice that im able to get surround sound in PCM 2.0 but the lfe is not so great and boomy like it is with DD5.1. Would you guys say that PCM 2.0 would be better than DD 5.1? From what i know 5.1 can be a bit boomy at times even with my sub turned down so i might just run all my movies pcm 2.0 and just turn up the sub to compensate for the loss in lfe effects. Any inputs will be great. thanks!
