I just realized that my PS3 is version 1.5. I did what the SONY website directed using my memory stick. I crated the PS3 folder, then created the UPDATE folder inside the PS3 folder.

I put the memory stick in all 4 of the USB ports in the front of the PS3. When I got to system update, I choose media storage device, it tells me there is no applicable software to update.

Help!

Does the PS3/UPDATE folder have to be the only thing on the memory stick?
