Until recently I thought Netflix was a great resource for viewing material available in Blu. Often times I find myself checking the release dates of material available on Blu-Ray.com then adding those items to my Netflix queue. This was all going flawlessly until a couple of weeks ago when "Royal Space Force: Wings of Honneamise" came out on BD. I have never seen this film and as a fan of Anime I was excited to see it for the first time on Blu-Ray. Unfortunately, Netflix wouldn't even admit to the movie's existence. OK, that's no biggie. I guess it's pretty obscure film. Nobody's perfect, certainly not Netflix. I'm wiling to forgive for now.
So, this week I hit the Blu-ray.com site to see release dates so I can add some titles to the Netflix queue. As you all know there have been some great releases over the past few weeks. Some of them have been down right classic. I added "The Fly" and "Halloween" to the top of my queue. When I check my queue both these films were added as the DVD not the Blu-ray format. I understand that there are probably not too many Netflix customers angry about, "Wings of Honnramise". But, "The Fly" and "Halloween"? Seriously, I can not be the only one pissed that I can't rent these from Netflix. So, what else are we missing? “Dawn of the Dead” is available on DVD and HDDVD. What the eff? Neither “Day of the Dead” nor “Evil Dead II” gets no Blu-Ray?
I’ve got to say something. I mean after all I am paying almost $25 a month for this. Selection shouldn’t really be an issue.
So, Netflix is not exactly the easiest to get a hold of to complain about anything. But, if anyone thinks Netflix should have all Blu-ray titles available as I do. Please contact them and say so.
Thanks very much for reading.

Ross.
I personally buy my movies that I like but you might want to give Blockbuster.com a try they only rent Blu-rays no HDDVD I can't say for sure but you might fine a better sellection and I think they might be cheeper...
