Yes, we know editors had been searching for The Next Harry Potter longer than Ponce de Leon, and Barry was up to his knees in the Everglades--
But here's a big fat scoop for you: Go to your YA shelf, try to tell some of the three or four fake Twilight novel-series apart from the real ones (they're right next to the satirical teen-zombie series) and tell me whether you, um, THINK the industry might've found its next mania-craze yet, without you...Just take your time, don't rush any guesses.
