The situation Blu-ray vs HD DVD after PS3 release:

PS3 is out in Japan and USA and here is what is the situation now:

Sells:
Blu-Ray have sold more than 85 000 players in Japan, HD DVD not more than 10 000. Blu-Ray outsells HD DVD 8:1.
Blu-Ray have sold more than 250 000 units in the USA, HD DVD have sold ~40 000. Blu-Ray outsells HD DVD 6:1.
Blu-Ray wins.
