Agreed 100%; I couldn't have said it better myself. That's why I avoided all but eight of the films released in the 2009 calendar year, and of those only two are on my video shelf.

Which amazes me (in a negative way), that any person of conscience could even watch this crap, and not be insulted or disgusted by it. It's truly a shame that Hollywood has resorted to this...and what's worse is that unless folks stop buying it, the percentage of "crap vs. non-crap" will only get higher. For years - even decades - statistics galore have shown that Hollywood's #1 priority is money...and as tired as it sounds, it's still true: "If people quit watching it, they'll quit making it."
