Sony and Pioneer make 720P displays that accept a 1080P/24 input so that one can experience the benefits of 24fps material that is located on a BLU-RAY and HD-DVD disc. If one purchases a lower quality Toshiba HD-DVD player that does not output 1080P/24 then they will not experience the smooth judder free quality that both the HD-DVD and BLU-RAY format can provide.
