Apologies if this has been discussed before, I did check the boards woithout any luck.
Anyway, regarding plugging a HDMI cable into a receiver/amp, and requiring it to be able to support 24p to passthrough the video to the TV, it has occured to me, that as 3D runs at a faster framerate, that the current HD compliant sound systems will not be able to passthrough a 3D video singal.
Obviously this means switching back to transferring audio via optical or coaxial.
So, are there going to be new sound set-ups made that will support 3D video passthrough, or am I wrong, and it all works okay anyway?
Thanks.
