Looks like the cost cutters hit the 1007 -> 1008 transition. No longer Ultra2 Plus Certified and just the more basic Audyssey MultEQ (IOW, not the XT version). I would gladly give up the 9.2 for 7.1 with Audyssey MultEQ XT and Ultra2 Plus certification. IOW, I am still keeping my 805.
It just goes to show how truly great the original 805 was and still is to this day.
