I have a Japanese imported PS3. The new bar that is in the upper right corner of the menu in the new 2.0 update is in Japanese only. I can't change it to English. I know Sony did this on purpose, too, because it first warned me in English that it would only be allowed to work in Japanese, and that I should change my entire PS3 to Japanese.

What's next? Will the PS3 force me to work in Japanese only?

Sony, why did you do this? I just disabled your new menu bar! Why penalize people who own an imported machine? We should be able to choose the language! I purchased this machine originally because I heard it worked in English, which it always has. I hope this is not a new trend which will end up with me losing all English functionality in future updates.

If there is a way to change this, please let me know.
