Disney obviously has theirs, Warner has Bugs Bunny and Batman covered, and Fox has been known to go to town with Die Hard and the Apes...And Universal knows they have their own ace in the hole with Frankenstein/Dracula, and with the Classic Hitchcocks. They're nervous about catalog releases like every other timid studio is at the moment, but as long as studios think they have to "compete" for a share in the market, I wouldn't worry about Uni sweeping the Hitchcock movies under the rug any time soon...Psycho was just the most iconically marketable (and "Classic Horror" crossover) to get the foot in the door.

agreed-- I would be surprised if we didn't see some more Hitchcock in 2011 if not maybe at the end of the year. I would guess that THE BIRDS, REAR WINDOW, or VERTIGO would be the next releases....
and I'll add this-- maybe people could stop being obsessed with waiting until the price is at a "give-away" mark for once and buy the movie when it's released so Universal can see some sales... this will get more titles on the drawing board.
