There have been North American 2-disc deluxe "Special Editions" that are probably Platinum in all but name ( Sleeping Beauty springs to mine), but they aren't officially Platinum titles.

It's released in US first, then few month later, the UK version comes out under "special edition / 2 disc special edition". It's always like that. Snow white - I got the last copy available in Tower UK. Beauty and the beast - 2002, I got the UK and french version.
