One other benefit of the DLNA server approach. If you plan on having multiple PS3's in the future
.. all of them *should* be able to access the server and stream music in multiple rooms etc..that part needs further investigation as to the respective DLNA servers capabilities etc..
Will the current PS3 ever be a DLNA server with a FW update- or will there be a higher end PS3 server as a different SKU? Don't know but they seem possible down the road.
