Sad to hear about the Optimum, but the New Line US encode will probably be a completely different hill of beans. One of the many reasons why I'm collecting only US discs, even though I live in Europe.
And as far as reading goes -- I guess the Jabba scenes in
Return of the Jedi are still an insurmountable problem to a large segment of the population, eh? Thankfully, all the other movies worth watching in the history of cinema were made in English.
