I wasn't expecting some cheesy killer in a mask. It's the Blair Witch, not a slasher flick haha.
I just wish that it went a bit more in depth with the Blair Witch haunting them and maybe them going around in that house for a little longer to add more suspense and tension.
I honestly think that some of the scenes where things are going bump in the night are done well, but I much prefer that type of stuff than just them screaming at each other for half the movie. I understand the character development and showing them descent into madness, but I honestly think they could of gone about it in a different way. It's very realistic to have them screaming, cussing, and getting mad at each other, but it just got old after a while.
Honestly, I didn't know enough about the two guys to really care about their arguments. I think their names are Josh and Mike, but can't clearly remember.
Heather's character had more depth and the audience got to learn much more about her, especially later on in the film.
All 3 of them are annoying, but I at least somewhat cared what happened to Heather later on, once she started opening up more about who she is.
I just wish there was more of the Blair Witch messing with their heads and more stuff going bump in the night. I didn't want to see her though, because part of what made it eerie was not ever seeing her.
