Just wanted to say hi to my new Blu-ray friends, seems like a nice forum you all have here.
I went to CC and picked up an LG 47" 1080p with a Bose 3-2-1 system about 4 months ago. Thats when I noticed something called "Blu-ray".
The kid at CC told me Blu-ray would prolly win the format war. Well, my kids wanted a PS3... so that justified my purchase.
Friggin awesome is all I can say. Does it get any better than watching "Live Free or Die Hard" on PS3? I remember when I was a kid and I had 3 channels to choose from on the family TV, rabbit ears, and I had to get up off my arse to change them! LOL!
My how times have changed, and I'm only 40.
