In Bruges doesn't look bad though. The transfer is top notch with an image that is highly detailed and well represented and of all the 1080i releases I've seen it's one of the better. 1080p would be ideal but it's not a
huge detractor. At least it's legitimate 1080 but this release of Basic is just an upconverted DVD for all intents and purposes. Your only upgrade is the sound. It's a complete waste of a release. Hell, even an old HD master at 1080p would have been preferable to some upscaled rubbish.
