Quite, it changes the implementation method.
Currently, the games can call up OS features/functions.
What we're looking for, is something more akin to how the Blade works. Where the interface stays loaded in memory and can over-ride game render.
And of course, potential rework how the sound bus works so you can mix the sound-streams properly.
The big thing I see is just making sure that they can reserve enough memory for the XMB to function without stepping into memory games may have addressed...
