Add the item to your basket and when your "checking out" there are 3 sections to go through (these are shown at the top). The first is called Delivery Address, the second is Pay & Confirm and last one is called Done.
When you're on the second section, Pay & Confirm, there will be a button on the right which says "I have a promotional or discount voucher", click on it, type in your code, and the amount will be deducted. Then you'l pay for the item and it's all done.
